With all the recent discussions about new social networking sites, blogging, podcasting, new widgets and gadgets, the common use of multi-function phones, bluetooth capabilities on cell phones and computers – it seems there is not escaping the “new world order” – which seems to play out online.
But before you jump into the fray – ask yourself a few questions first. If you were to add any of the above mentioned (or any other) applicationsĀ to your arsenal of “business tricks” – would they improve your business and/or your life? Would they help you achieve your goals?
What type of business do you own? Is it a service based business or do you sell products? Are you a local or a global business? Where do your clients come from? And are they interested in using the Internet?
While online marketing, blogging, etc is a viable marketing and networking solution, make sure that you know why you would be adding any of these options, what your plans are, what you are trying to achieve and most of all that you can set the required time aside to learn, apply and participate.
